The UL Shield mobile phone app enhances safety on campus through real-time interactive features that create a virtual safety network. UL Shield is available for and devices and can be downloaded from the appropriate app store.
Belonging
- Preferred/Used Name
A preferred/used name is an alternate first name that differs from a person鈥檚 legal first name. Any student may choose to identify themselves within the 欧美三级片鈥檚 information system with a preferred/used name in addition to their legal name. Students may request to add, edit, or remove their preferred/used name by completing a . There are a number of Gender-neutral restroom options on campus for those who prefer them. Gender-neutral restrooms are indicated by signage that says 鈥淩estroom鈥 written out in white text or braille with a toilet symbol; this signage may also include the universal accessibility symbol if the restroom is accessible. Engagement and Dialogue
- Students of Concern Team (SOCT)
The SOCT is a campus resource dedicated to assisting students who may be in distress or experiencing challenging or difficult life circumstances. The SOCT also provides consultation and intervention when students exhibit aggressive, concerning or disruptive behaviors. The Office for Campus Inclusion offers a variety of educational resources to support learning and dialogue. In particular, the 鈥淐ourageous Conversations鈥 series provides roundtable discussions for groups of faculty, staff and graduate students for an opportunity to learn and share best practices for engaging diversity and inclusion, both inside and outside the classroom.
