鈥淭hroughout the program, I had a lot of 鈥榓ha鈥 moments. There were times when we鈥檇 cover a concept and I鈥檇 be like, 鈥榃ait, they talked about this on our last earnings call.鈥欌
鈥淚f earning your MBA is something you want to do, do it. Put your heart into it, and know that you can achieve it. UL Lafayette will always have a lasting impression on me because of the experience I had.鈥
鈥淚 didn鈥檛 feel like I had to give up so much of my life to get my MBA. I could take my time with it. I could take one class every eight weeks and not feel overwhelmed and really be able to soak in all the education and do my homework and really feel like I鈥檓 learning something.鈥
鈥淚 always tell the kids I coach that it鈥檚 OK if you want to get into the workforce, but you have to get an education. Whether it鈥檚 online, on campus, I don鈥檛 care. Just get an education.鈥
鈥淭he classes were very informational. I鈥檇 be able to pull up what I was doing with our clients at work and understand exactly what we were doing and why were doing it because of the classes I took.鈥
"There are not many things you get to do as big as this. Enjoy the experience, take it slow, and ask questions when they come up because UL Lafayette has a huge support system. That鈥檚 one of the reasons I decided to go back.鈥
"Whatever your situation is, online learning will make it easier; you just have to keep working hard. The best part about it all is that no matter where you live, you鈥檒l get to be a Ragin鈥 Cajun."
鈥淵ou鈥檙e going to get as much out of the MBA program as you put into it. If you鈥檙e putting in the bare minimum, you鈥檙e going to get the bare minimum in return. But if you engage and get into the discussion forums and be involved with the people in your classes, you will have a network of people that you鈥檒l be able to connect with even after you finish.鈥
鈥淥nline worked so much better for me, because I can sit in a classroom and not get anything from it. But put me in a curriculum, tell me to go do the work for myself and do the reading, and I can pick up on it. But compared to in-person classes, you have to be a go getter, or it's just not going to come to you.鈥
