Four Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns alumni will be inducted into the UL Lafayette Athletic Hall of Fame during halftime of the 2014 Homecoming football game against South Alabama on Saturday, Nov. 1.

They are: Michael Allen, basketball, 1991-1994; Steven Feehan, baseball,  1997-2000; Jill Robertson, softball, 2001-2005; and Matt Trevino, golf, 1995-1998.

The ŷƬ’s Hall of Fame recognizes men and women who distinguished themselves as student-athletes and have made significant contributions to their professions and their communities. They are nominated and selected through a process that is overseen by the board of directors of Ragin' Cajuns Lettermen Club, an organization of former athletes who have lettered in their sport.

“Our goal is to remind each new generation of athletes of the tradition they must uphold and the ideals that they should strive for while they are wearing UL Lafayette uniforms,” said Tom Carroll, Ragin’ Cajuns Lettermen Club president, who was a member of the ŷƬ’s baseball team from 1971-1974.
