This decrease, combined with the Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬'s comprehensive testing protocols, is enabling a return to normal course delivery methods and operations. Classes that transitioned to remote learning at the start of the spring semester will begin to transition back to their original course delivery methods beginning Monday, Feb. 7. All courses should have returned to their original modes of instruction by Monday, Feb. 21. Students should check Moodle and with their professors for more details regarding when their classes will transition back.
In-person student organization events, including meetings, socials, and service projects, will continue to be allowed on and off campus provided masks are worn and proper social distancing can be maintained. Additionally, intramural sports will resume.
Employees should return to normal on-campus operations beginning Monday, Feb. 7. The Office of Human Resources must approve any extensions of alternate work arrangements.
The Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ continues to strongly encourage students and employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine and booster shot. This is especially important in preparation for Mardi Gras.
COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots are being administered at the on-campus testing and vaccination site in the former Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ Bookstore building at 210 E. St. Mary Blvd. from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Å·ÃÀÈý¼¶Æ¬ clinic administers the Pfizer vaccine to individuals 12 years of age and older and the Moderna vaccine to those 18 years of age and older. Vaccines will not be administered to anyone under the age of 12.
Appointments are not available for COVID-19 vaccinations. You can walk in and register on-site.

Students who do not feel well for any reason should stay home and .
If you experience any symptoms related to COVID-19, please do the following:
- isolate at home/stay in your residence,
- contact your medical provider or call the Student Health Services at (337) 482-1328; and
- inform your roommates and avoid contact with them.
If you are told to quarantine or isolate because you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are presumed positive because of symptoms and testing, only. (You do not need to complete the Anticipated or Unplanned Absence form.)
