Latin American Studies
You should minor in Latin American studies if:
- You are — or want to be — fluent in Spanish.
- You want to learn about Latin American history, culture, and current affairs.
Latin American studies is an interdisciplinary minor with courses in anthropology, economics, literature, geography, history, political science, and sociology. This minor will teach you about these fields with context focused on Latin American history, culture, and current affairs.
This minor will give you a deeper understanding of other cultures, as well as prepare you for Spanish-speaking work environments or advanced academic work on Latin America.
